It was my first time going through this process. Mandy was super easy to work with and communicative throughout the whole process. Above all, she was very transparent, something that I found might not be common working with other lenders. I ultimately decided to work with Mandy due to her trying to get me the best deal without me needing to push her to do so. In my experience, other lenders seemed willing to let me accept something that wasn’t the best deal. I became frustrated with having to ask questions or bring up the fact that I knew they could do better to get them to “go talk with management” and magically come back with a 3X better deal. Mandy didn’t do any of that. She actually brought up potential issues and told me the plan to mitigate it or how she would work around it. I think in this business, transparency is rare, Mandy is one of the anomaly’s. We closed on my house in a 15 day period. I never had any stress or any surprises. I could trust her and that made the whole process seamless. I hope that I can get to work with Mandy in the future. I point anyone that I know in her direction. Mandy literally came to the rescue just 2 weeks before we had to close or try to find another property. We were PCS’ing across the country and In between stops making calls and emails trying to get this deal closed. Mandy made it happen taking over from our previous lender that just dropped the ball and would’ve guaranteed we would’ve; a.) got to the house and been stuck in a deal that would’ve hurt us long term or b.) gotten here to no house and no chance of saving the deal and it would’ve cost us our earnest money money. Once we had everything sorted out from the previous lender she closed us in less than 10 days, and we ended up arriving in WA to a house in a neighborhood we absolutely love so much. We’re so lucky Mandy was a rockstar and saved us from this lender who was seriously trying to sabotage everything and keep us from moving forward with her. Be careful with lenders that claim they know military and work with them all the time, this other lender did and ending up being so unknowledgeable about the VA and extremely unprofessional. Mandy gets it though, she truly cares. Thank you!
